A Marker can change your Life...

This is the funniest advertisement i have ever seen, but somehow real and true... It shows the importance of the vermillion mark in Indian tradition which remains with the feminine structure as long as her husband is alive. In India, chudiyaan, sindur, mangalsutra, mehndi are taken as the symbols of a married women.

Indian husbands put or place kumkum or sindur on the forehead of their wives which ensure the long life of their husbands. The mark on the forehead also shows the divinity and the trust of the women on her that until she is alive the mark will remain with them and nurture her spouse's family. The ad showcases the permanency of the permanent marker and is considered as the vermillion mark which defines the feminine strength even in the 'clouds of sorrow'.

And if you remember the famous dialogue from Bollywood movie Om Shanti Om, "ek chutki sindur ko keemat tum kya jaano ramesh baabu???"  But the mark has the strength and power to revive one's life because 'A Marker can change your life'...
